About the position

Stepp's Auto Salvage is seeking a Salvage Yard Parts Puller to join their team in San Antonio, FL. This full-time position involves removing parts from vehicles while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have automotive experience, customer service skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The role offers hourly pay and monthly performance bonuses, providing a stable income without the pressures of flat rate work.

Responsibilities

• Remove parts and assemblies from vehicles with safety, quality, and productivity in mind.
• Inspect, clean, label, and tag parts for sale, delivery, shipping, or stock placement.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and/or reliable means of transportation.
• Hands-on automotive or industry experience and tools.
• Basic understanding of environmental safety.
• Knowledge or ability to learn to use car lifts, heavy forklifts, car crushers, mini excavators, and skid steers.
• Ability to learn processes, procedures, and regulations through various methods, including hands-on training and online courses.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
