About the position
The On-Call Weekend RN position at Kindful Health focuses on providing exceptional hospice care to patients and their families. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient experiences and adherence to professional standards. The RN will manage a reasonable caseload while fostering a culture of caring and support within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Follow policies and procedures consistent with recognized standards of professional practice.
- Identify system problems or inefficiencies that may negatively affect patient care.
- Manage clinical excellence within your patient census.
- Provide high levels of communication both internally with the Kindful team and externally with patients and families to assure top CAHPS scores.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Medical Director, and entire team to provide a 'concierge' level hospice experience.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in the Hospice service line in the state of Texas.
