About the position
The Marcus & Millichap Investment Brokerage Internship is a paid, eight-week program designed for rising college juniors and seniors to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate (CRE). Interns will work closely with experienced brokers and capital markets professionals, participating in day-to-day operations while receiving education and mentorship. This internship offers a unique blend of practical experience, training, and networking opportunities to prepare interns for a career in CRE.
Responsibilities
- Participate in team projects and sales meetings.
- Assist in the creation of contracts, Broker Opinion of Values (BOVs), and Offering Memorandums (OMs).
- Attend workshops and exclusive classes covering financing, business development, and underwriting.
- Network with senior agents and management to build professional relationships.
- Engage in informative conversations with top agents to learn key selling skills and proposal development.
Requirements
- Rising college juniors or seniors.
- Enrolled at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a real estate minor or major or participating in a real estate club or boot camp.
