About The Position

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• One year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level in the Federal service, including drafting and analyzing U.S. economic sanctions programs.
• Experience with advanced legal or regulatory writing for a professional audience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills regarding substantive and technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop new regulatory frameworks and update existing ones to align with U.S. national security and foreign policy priorities.

• Address complex financial and legal challenges related to sanctions across multiple domains.
• Advise senior Treasury officials and represent OFAC on interagency task forces.
