About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems as per company standards.
  • Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools, including a Volt Meter, to identify electrical problems.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to the equipment serviced.

Requirements

  • Valid Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record that meets company insurance standards.
  • Ability to travel throughout the upper Midwest.
  • Some knowledge or experience in plumbing and/or electrical work.
  • Ability to read and use a volt meter to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Experience in routing maintenance tasks to keep equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in equipment maintenance and repair.
