Responsibilities
- Operate flutter sander to ensure a smooth finish on product.
- Use production schedule to determine which parts need to be sanded each day.
- Read route card to understand sanding requirements for specific parts.
- Select correct size and grit of flutter sandpaper for the disk.
- Move completed parts to the next step in the production process.
- Observe plant safety rules.
- Keep work area clean and maintain quality in performing duties.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous sanding experience preferred.
