About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for delivering high-quality service to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other team members to create delicious meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, adhering to food safety protocols.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers and grills.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, cooking meats, and preparing sauces.
• Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Buss tables and assist in maintaining a clean dining area for customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a grocery store or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for helping others through quality food preparation and service is highly valued.
