The Sanitation Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining high sanitation standards within the bakery environment. This position involves the efficient disassembly and assembly of equipment for cleaning, as well as the safe operation of various cleaning machines. Responsibilities
- Efficiently disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning.
- Set up line equipment prior to production runs.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and machines, including rack washers, power washers, steamers, washer extractors, and dryers.
- Follow Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Quality Plans.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry.
- Ability to stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working in a warm environment.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
