About The Position

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a sanitation or cleaning role is desired.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean freezers and refrigerators by rinsing, soaping, and sanitizing according to standard operating procedures.
• Train on cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
• Mix chemicals for hand wash and sanitation, ensuring correct calculations of chemical percentages.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of structural components such as walls, floors, HVAC units, and ductwork.
• Understand and comply with food safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs and maintain hazard-free work areas.
• Exercise caution to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain regular attendance per company policy.
• Work weekends and overtime as needed to meet production and sanitation deadlines.
• Report food safety problems to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
