About the position
The Sanitation Specialist at Applebee's is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant by disinfecting common areas and contact surfaces. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Sanitize and disinfect all common areas in the restaurant.
- Clear items from tables after guests leave.
- Ongoing cleaning and sanitizing of all contact surface areas throughout the shift.
- Ensure cleanliness of tables, condiments, faucets, handles, chairs, booths, and computer terminals.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.
- Ability to exert fast-paced mobility throughout the shift.
