About the position
The Sanitation Supervisor at Bob Evans Farms is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sanitation shift within the facility. This role ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures while managing plant personnel and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The supervisor will also be involved in the hiring, training, and performance management of employees, as well as ensuring adherence to sanitation protocols and chemical safety.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the sanitation shift.
- Oversee plant personnel and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Interview, hire, and train employees.
- Plan, assign, and direct work for sanitation staff.
- Appraise performance and address employee complaints and issues.
- Prioritize food quality and maintain food safety through the application of SSOPs and GMPs.
- Understand and apply chemical usage, titration, and safety protocols.
- Monitor goals, yields, variances, and calculations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
