About the position

This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at McLane Company facilities, including offices, break rooms, and distribution center areas. The role involves various cleaning tasks and grounds maintenance, ensuring a safe and pleasant work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in the Office, Break Room, DC, and Transportation Building areas.
• Vacuum and mop floors, empty trash, and clean bathrooms in the office.
• Wash windows, clean floors, and maintain break rooms and locker areas.
• Clean floors, trash, dock plates, and pallets in the distribution center.
• Mow lawns, pick up trash, and maintain walkways in the division grounds.

Requirements

• Previous Sanitation/Janitorial experience required.
• Ability to use cleaning products, riding mower, electric floor cleaner, and vacuum cleaner.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Must be able to be trained/certified on pallet jack within 30 days after hire.
• Must successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen, and criminal background check.
