Sanitation Technician

About the position

The Sanitation Technician at Bath N Buns Mobile Pet Grooming LLC is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the facility, particularly focusing on the mobile grooming units. This role is crucial for ensuring that all areas, equipment, and surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, including floors, walls, and equipment
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools to remove dirt, grime, and stains
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste materials properly
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience with professional cleaning required
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs
• Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures in a food processing or production environment
• Experience in industrial cleaning or heavy lifting preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of custodial practices and commercial cleaning techniques is a plus
