About the position
The Overnight Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the manufacturing facility by cleaning machines and the surrounding areas after production shifts. This role requires knowledge of cleaning chemicals and mechanical aptitude to effectively clean various equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean manufacturing machines each night after production shifts.
- Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and clean restrooms and ceiling fans within the facility.
- Perform machine cleaning during shutdowns, including mixers, dryers, shakers, and coolers.
- Remove trash as needed.
Requirements
- Physical stamina to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Experience in machinery cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
- Flexibility with hours and scheduling.
- Mechanical aptitude.
