About the position

The Sanitation position at Bunge's soybean processing plant in Delphos, OH, is responsible for performing utility cleanup and plant sanitation. This full-time, permanent role also assists the plant during the fall harvest and helps fill future full-time vacancies. The position operates on a 12-hour night shift schedule and requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process paperwork per department procedures
• Perform cleaning within the department as directed, including dust and bean cleanup, shoveling snow
• Use hoses to wash down areas
• Perform trash and sanitation duties, including cleaning bathroom and breakroom areas
• Assist with supplies and inventory
• Assist with fire extinguisher checks as assigned
• Cut and remove bean samples
• Work safely and assist coworkers as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
• Operate mobile equipment including bobcat, tractor, forklift, and unloading deliveries
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work 2nd shift on a 2-2-3 schedule
• Good attendance
