About the position

The SAP Ariba Consultant role is focused on providing both development and analysis expertise in SAP Ariba, specifically in upstream and downstream processes, as well as Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP). The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to configure SAP modules, optimize processes, and ensure effective integration with SAP S/4 HANA. This hybrid position is based in Austin, Texas, and requires strong communication skills and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a techno-functional consultant for SAP Ariba in upstream, downstream, and SLP processes.
• Integrate Ariba with SAP/S4 HANA using Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
• Configure guided buying, invoicing, approval flow, and master/transactional data integration.
• Manage sourcing, guided sourcing, and contract workspace activities.
• Create functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize SAP system usage.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Ariba with both development and analysis skills.
• Proven experience as an Ariba techno-functional consultant in upstream, downstream, and SLP.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM and S4 HANA procurement processes.
• Experience with Ariba integration with SAP/S4 HANA using CIG.
• Familiarity with guided buying, invoicing, approval flow configuration, and data integration.
• Experience in sourcing, guided sourcing, and contract workspace management.
• Ability to create functional specifications and work with ABAP developers.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
