About the position

The SAP Automation Tester will serve as a Test Analyst for Agency Services supporting the Treasury within the Department of Technology Management and Budget. This role is crucial for ensuring quality financial, tax, and administrative services by managing test activities, communicating with business representatives, and ensuring that key test issues are addressed. The position involves producing reports, presentations, and meeting minutes related to quality assurance testing assignments and deliverables, as well as assisting in the creation of test scenarios to validate customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support all test activities and manage communications with business test representatives.
• Produce reports, presentations, and meeting minutes for quality assurance testing assignments.
• Communicate and interact with BA and development teams during requirements, development, and testing processes.
• Assist in creating scenarios to meet the validation of acceptance criteria of customer requirements.
• Undertake all system test related activities in support of business requirements for new and updated systems.
• Conduct functional and integration testing, liaising with third-party staff to ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Perform Quality Assurance checks during third-party meetings and internal developments.
• Attend meetings and workshops to cover test-dependent activities such as requirement verification and prioritization.
• Ensure test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way and approved by stakeholders.
• Create allocated test scripts, monitor test execution, and ensure results are recorded.
• Coordinate re-testing of defects and issues with business test representatives or third-party providers.
• Prepare and maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts and reports.
• Act as a liaison with each line of business regarding test planning and results analysis.
• Manage time, reporting, risk, issue management, quality assurance, and change management.
• Support other test team members and associated IT and Business resources.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in SAP Financials, preferably with TRM.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with web-based testing and customer-facing interaction.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and requirement analysis.
• Familiarity with test tools such as SolMan Test Suite, HPALM, TFS, RQM, or any QA tracking tools.
• Experience in automation testing.
