About the position

The SAP / AWS Solutions Architect role focuses on designing and implementing solutions within the SAP and AWS environments, particularly for the BTP portfolio. This position requires strong architectural skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions and create detailed Solution Architecture Documents.
• Create comparison matrices, enterprise patterns, strategy documents, cloud blueprints, technical specifications, and other architecture artifacts.
• Evaluate and recommend specific tools, platforms, and frameworks for projects.
• Partner with portfolio teams and other IT groups to create and present architectural guidance.
• Design solutions that meet performance, security, scalability, and other non-functional requirements.
• Promote modular design for independent development and testing of components.
• Conduct manual code audits and lead code quality reviews, creating reports and metrics for automated code review.
• Control costs by estimating various architecture and design options.
• Review high availability and disaster recovery architecture and remediate as necessary.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years as a solution architect.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect certification strongly preferred.
• TOGAF certification is a plus.
