The SAP BPC Backend Developer position at Randstad US is a remote contract role based in Culver City, California. This position is designed for experienced professionals who possess a strong background in SAP BPC, ABAP programming, and financial planning and analysis. The role requires the developer to work on various aspects of BPC script logic and BADI implementations, ensuring that the solutions meet specific business requirements. The developer will be responsible for designing and developing custom business rules, calculations, and other logic necessary for effective financial planning and analysis. In addition to BPC script logic, the developer must have a strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts, particularly Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS). This knowledge is crucial for developing custom ABAP programs and BADI implementations tailored to meet the unique needs of the organization. The role also involves designing and developing data models, InfoProviders, and DataSources within SAP BW, ensuring seamless integration between BPC and SAP BW. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in ABAP related to SAP BW, including the development of custom transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains. Familiarity with SAP BW data modeling concepts, such as InfoObjects, InfoAreas, and ADSOs, is essential, with BW/4 modeling experience being preferred. Furthermore, a strong functional knowledge and experience in Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the media industry.
