About the position
The SAP BTP Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting application solutions with a focus on SAP BTP Development. This role requires strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in SAP BTP development and HANA Cloud Development.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop application solutions focusing on SAP BTP Development.
- Support existing application solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement SAP BTP development projects with a focus on best practices.
- Utilize HANA Cloud Development tools such as Business Application Studio.
- Work with SQL Script, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures for data management.
- Design tables, data loads, and calculation views while ensuring DB security concepts are followed.
- Utilize Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with NodeJS and JavaScript.
- Debug applications using logs and traces to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
- 5 years of strong Java/J2EE and Spring experience.
- 1 year of hands-on implementation experience with SAP BTP development.
- Experience with HANA Cloud Development and Business Application Studio.
- Deep understanding of SAP Cloud Foundry features and capabilities.
- Strong experience with SQL Script, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures.
- Knowledge of Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using NodeJS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SDA, SDI, and SLT concepts.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of SAPUI5 is an added advantage.
