About the position

The SAP BTP Java Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting application solutions primarily within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The position requires strong Java and Spring Boot skills, along with hands-on experience in SAP BTP development, to create robust applications that leverage cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application solutions with a focus on SAP BTP Development.
• Utilize Java/J2EE and Spring for application development.
• Implement SAP BTP development solutions effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency in HANA Cloud Development and Business Application Studio tools.
• Understand and apply Cloud Foundry features and capabilities.
• Work with SQL Script, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures for data management.
• Ensure database security concepts are understood and applied.
• Utilize the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Apply Core Data Services (CDS) in development tasks.
• Conduct debugging using logs and traces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE and Spring development.
• 1+ year of hands-on implementation experience with SAP BTP development.
• Proficiency in HANA Cloud Development and Business Application Studio tools.
• Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Foundry features and capabilities.
• Experience with SQL Script, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures.
• Knowledge of database security concepts.
