About the position

The SAP Business Process Development Manager for Manufacturing Engineering and Quality is responsible for leading and supporting the design and implementation of SAP systems that enhance manufacturing and quality management functions. This role focuses on creating standardized processes, training materials, and documentation to ensure consistency across SAP deployments within the organization. The manager will work closely with technical teams to evaluate and test processes, manage incidents, and oversee change requests, all while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the system design requirements for Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Management functions within SAP.
  • Create standard processes and related training materials for SAP deployments.
  • Manage incidents to ensure timely resolution and address root causes.
  • Oversee the change request process to align configurations with business needs.
  • Create Key Design Decisions for approval and establish technical support priorities.
  • Ensure all testing meets design requirements and maintain proper documentation.
  • Lead the development of training requirements and ensure adequate training materials are available for new users.
  • Influence peers and executives to support global strategic initiatives and process changes.
  • Plan and design strategic systems and processes to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Identify improvement opportunities within current business processes and lead their development.

Requirements

  • Minimum four year technical or business degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or Quality Engineering
  • Experience with SAP implementation is a plus
  • Strong change management and conflict resolution skills
  • 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
