About the position

The SAP Cloud Engineer/Integration Developer role focuses on developing and managing integration solutions between cloud and on-premise SAP and non-SAP products. This position requires expertise in SAP BTP and CPI platforms, with responsibilities including designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-wide integrations, ensuring compliance with integration standards, and collaborating with various teams to drive innovation and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premise and Cloud instances of SAP & Non-SAP Products.
  • Configure and extend standard iFlows, defining custom iFlows and handling exception processes.
  • Handle various integration adapters in SAP CPI, including SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, and REST Adapters.
  • Develop value mapping and Groovy scripts for use in iFlows.
  • Manage data conversions such as JSON to XML and CSV to XML.
  • Utilize various CPI pallet options for message transformations and integration patterns.
  • Handle security artifacts, encryption, decryption mechanisms, and SSH keys.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and test process flows using SAP BTP Integration tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive innovation and share knowledge.
  • Develop and promote technical design standards and best practices.
  • Architect, design, develop, and support enterprise-wide integrations using SAP BTP/CPI Platform.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and standards.
  • Build and maintain understanding of application and business areas supported.
  • Implement large scale API solutions and manage API Business Hub integrations.
  • Drive solution architecture for complex projects, collaborating with various teams.
  • Analyze architecture alternatives and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as performance and security.
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects and meet business expectations.
  • Design and develop technical specifications for integration solutions, including POC and testing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in full cycle implementation and integration support projects.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI, API Management, Integration Advisor, and Event Mesh.
  • Experience with EDI X12 standards (EDI X12 830, 850, 846, 855, 856, 810, 997, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting experience and hands-on experience with S/4 HANA implementation and OData API knowledge.
  • Expertise in Java Script and Groovy Script development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Epicor integration.
  • Knowledge of API architecture design patterns and supporting infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with security and cryptography in integration solutions.
