About the position

As a Technology Business Analyst Manager at EY, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, particularly in the implementation of SAP systems within the retail sector. Your responsibilities will include managing high-quality processes and projects, ensuring alignment of technology solutions with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement and innovation. You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, and oversee the delivery of SAP projects, all while maintaining a focus on risk management and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the translation of business requirements into technical specifications
• Evaluate and ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions
• Manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects with a focus on risk management
• Oversee professional employees or supervise teams to achieve complex technical initiatives
• Maintain billable client charging and lead delivery streams
• Manage projects and engage with external clients daily

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with one or more SAP module
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
• Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members
• Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry specific finance and technology functions
• Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
• Application functional design expertise
• System configuration experience
• Proficiency in system development lifecycle
• Knowledge of technology business architecture frameworks
• A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%

Nice-to-haves

• Prior consulting industry experience
• SAP Certification/s
• Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams
