About the position

The Senior Manager in SAP Customer Retail Consulting at EY is responsible for leading and managing complex projects that leverage SAP technology to improve client operations in the retail sector. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, and ensure successful implementation of SAP S/4 Retail solutions. The position emphasizes client relationship management, project delivery, and thought leadership in the retail space.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complex processes and projects, ensuring quality and managing risk.
• Accountable for budget management, delivery, and performance of projects.
• Foster and manage client relationships to contribute to business growth.
• Provide thought leadership and expert insights on complex problems.
• Identify sales and new opportunities within client engagements.
• Participate in client engagements from planning to execution and closure.
• Manage engagement economics with a focus on chargeability and revenue generation.

Requirements

• Experience implementing SAP in the retail sector, particularly in Grocery, Convenience Store, Pharmacy, Home Improvement, and general retail.
• Experience with SAP S/4 Retail solutions in areas such as Forecasting and Replenishment, Merch and Assortment Planning, Pricing and Promotions Management, and Store Operations.
• Strong management skills and understanding of operational and organizational dynamics.
• Ability to maintain quality and manage risk in project delivery.
• In-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen.
