About the position

The SAP Data Migration Consultant, Senior Associate at PwC focuses on providing consulting services for data and analytics solutions using SAP technologies. This role involves analyzing client requirements, designing and implementing data management and analytics solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilization of SAP tools. The consultant will work closely with clients to enhance their data management processes and derive valuable insights to achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and design data management and analytics solutions using SAP technologies.
• Provide training and support for effective utilization of SAP data and analytics tools.
• Develop data models, perform data analysis, and create visualizations and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with project and client teams to understand data requirements needed for solution implementations.
• Generate data mapping documents between source and target systems in collaboration with clients.
• Perform data profiling tasks in SAP Information Steward to collect statistics and trends for successful implementation.
• Develop and execute ETL migration projects in SAP Data Services and Syniti ADMM.
• Support functional teams with data needs through testing cycles and resolve data defects throughout the project.
• Align with data security and privacy standards as defined by the project and client.

Requirements

• Experience as a SAP Data Migration Consultant in at least 1 SAP implementation project.
• Understanding of SAP IT Architecture and design.
• Proficiency in SAP load methods: IDOC, BAPI, ABAP, LSMW, LTMC, LTMOM, Migrate Your Data (Fiori app).
• Experience with data migration from various legacy applications to SAP ECC and S/4 HANA across multiple SAP domains.
• Proficiency in data coding tools: SQL, Alteryx, Python.
• Ability to develop ETL programs and data quality processes using SAP Data Services and SAP Information Steward.
