About the position
The SAP ECC FICO Consultant role is focused on designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Finance solutions, particularly in the area of Asset Accounting. The consultant will work closely with business processes to ensure compliance and efficiency, while also providing user training and support. This hybrid position is based in Charlotte, NC, and requires a strong background in SAP FICO implementations and configurations.
Responsibilities
- Design and test solutions to ensure they meet business requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Architect, configure, and implement a large-scale complex SAP Finance solution.
- Analyze and document business processes related to asset accounting, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure seamless integration of Asset Accounting with other SAP modules such as SAP FIGL General Ledger, CO Controlling, and MM Materials Management.
- Develop and maintain custom reports for asset management and ensure compliance with statutory and corporate reporting requirements.
- Provide training to end users and support teams on SAP FIAA processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate should be ITAR Compliant.
- Must have worked on 3 ECC end-to-end FICO implementations and 2 support projects.
- Must have worked as a business analyst for data mapping and documentation knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in executing FICO configuration, functional documentation, testing plans and results, system documentation, and training materials.
Nice-to-haves
- Good to have SQL knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Understanding about US GAAP and localization.
