About the position

The SAP EDI Consultant / Architect role focuses on designing and configuring SAP interfaces, particularly in the areas of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and LE (Logistics Execution). The consultant will leverage their extensive experience in API testing and automation, EDI, and SAP ABAP to enhance delivery processing and optimize integration with both SAP and non-SAP systems. This position is critical for ensuring seamless communication between various systems and improving overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP interfaces for EDI and API integration.
• Conduct API testing and automation to ensure system reliability.
• Enhance delivery processing using collective delivery processing, delivery split, and delivery grouping functionalities.
• Implement delivery enhancements through user exits and BADIs.
• Integrate SAP with non-SAP external systems and internal legacy systems.
• Collaborate with 3PL and OEM partners for effective integration.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in SAP EDI and related technologies.
• Expert knowledge in EDI/Idocs and experience with 3rd party interfaces.
• Hands-on experience in API-based automation in SAP.
• Design and configuration experience in the LE module, including inbound/outbound processes.
• Detailed knowledge of MM and SD cross-functional areas.
• Integration experience with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP ABAP for interface development.
• Familiarity with delivery processing optimization techniques.
