About the position

The SAP FICO Consultant role is a full-time position based in Austin, TX, focusing on the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules. The consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, providing detailed designs, performing SAP configurations, and supporting the implementation process. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting concepts, along with excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in design and configuration of SAP Finance modules.
• Gather business requirements and provide conceptual and detailed designs.
• Perform necessary SAP configurations and write detailed specifications for custom program development.
• Conduct testing and coordinate transports to production.
• Provide post go-live support.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP FI.
• 5-10 years of analytical thinking experience.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience.
• Bachelor's degree and a postgraduate degree (MBA / CA) required.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• 1-2 years of RAR experience.
