About the position

The SAP Finance/Cost Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP solutions to transform the retail industry. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in SAP finance and cost accounting, along with the ability to lead projects and inspire teams. The consultant will work closely with clients to address their finance needs and drive digital transformation through innovative SAP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Use retail industry knowledge and technical expertise to decipher clients' finance needs.
• Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice.
• Continue to build personal and team expertise in SAP Finance.
• Lead projects and dive into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients.
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP functional/technical expertise in Cost Accounting processing.
• Experience with Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Margin Analysis, Overhead Accounting, or Project Accounting.
• At least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience.
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
