About the position
The SAP Finance/Cost Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP solutions to transform the retail industry. The consultant will utilize their expertise in finance and cost accounting to address clients' needs, driving digital transformation and operational efficiencies. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and communication skills to lead projects and inspire teams, while also providing opportunities for continuous learning and professional development within a supportive community.
Responsibilities
- Use retail industry knowledge and technical expertise to assess clients' finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice.
- Build personal and team expertise in SAP Finance solutions.
- Lead projects and configure SAP solutions to meet client requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients.
- Minimum of 3 years of SAP functional/technical expertise in Cost Accounting processing.
- Experience with Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Margin Analysis, Overhead Accounting, or Project Accounting.
- At least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, including project planning and solution architecture.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
