About the position
The SAP Finance/Cost Accounting Senior Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading SAP-based Finance Transformation projects within the High Tech industry. This role involves collaborating with clients to develop and implement innovative SAP solutions that enhance business operations and drive efficiency. The position requires a strong understanding of SAP technologies, particularly in the context of finance, and the ability to lead teams in delivering complex projects that meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs using SAP application and functional process expertise.
- Lead teams of consultants to advise clients on building SAP High Tech/CMT Industry cloud solutions.
- Engage with senior client Finance executives to discuss business challenges and the value of SAP solutions.
- Define clients' SAP journey through business cases and roadmaps during sales origination and proposal development.
- Architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies and custom applications.
- Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on industry best practices and SAP innovations.
- Lead large project teams to achieve transformational roadmaps, both onsite with clients and within Accenture.
- Become a trusted expert and advisor by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in SAP projects supporting High Tech/CMT clients.
- Minimum of 5 years of SAP functional/technical expertise in Cost Accounting processing.
- At least 3 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning and solution architecture.
- Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery Model.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
