About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to transform the finance operations of clients in the Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) industry. The consultant will utilize their expertise in SAP Finance, particularly in General Accounting and related modules, to address complex business challenges and drive digital transformation. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project leadership, and the ability to inspire teams while working on innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Use CMT industry knowledge and technical expertise to assess clients' finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice.
- Build and enhance personal and team expertise in SAP Finance solutions.
- Lead projects and configure SAP solutions to meet client requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting CMT clients.
- Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance, specifically in General Accounting/Ledger and related modules (AP, AR, Intercompany).
- At least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for CMT clients.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role is required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).
