About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to transform the finance operations of clients in the Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) industry. The consultant will utilize their expertise in SAP Finance to address complex business challenges, lead projects, and enhance internal operations through digital capabilities. This position emphasizes continuous learning and skill development within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Use CMT industry knowledge and technical expertise to decipher clients' Finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice.
- Build your own and your team's expertise in SAP Finance.
- Lead projects and dive into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting CMT clients.
- Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience & expertise in SAP Finance specific to General Accounting/Ledger and relative modules & technologies (AP, AR, Intercompany).
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for CMT clients.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).
