About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP solutions to transform the finance operations of clients in the Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) industry. The consultant will utilize their expertise in SAP Finance, particularly in General Accounting and related modules, to address complex business challenges and drive digital transformation. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project leadership, and strong communication skills to inspire teams and deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Use CMT industry knowledge and technical expertise to assess and address clients' finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice, enhancing both personal and team expertise in SAP Finance.
- Lead projects and manage workstreams while configuring SAP solutions to meet client requirements.
- Engage in project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for SAP S/4 implementations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting CMT clients.
- Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance, specifically in General Accounting/Ledger and related modules (AP, AR, Intercompany).
- At least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, including project planning and solution architecture.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role is required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
