About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to transform the finance operations of clients in the Industrial Equipment industry. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in SAP Finance and strong consulting skills to address complex business challenges, particularly in the context of digital transformation and smart factories. The consultant will be responsible for leading projects, configuring SAP solutions, and serving as a thought leader within the SAP practice.
Responsibilities
- Use Industrial Industry knowledge and technical expertise to decipher clients' Finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice.
- Continue to build your own and your team's expertise in SAP Finance.
- Lead projects and dive into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Industrial Industry clients.
- Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience & expertise in SAP Finance specific to General Accounting/Ledger and relative modules & technologies (AP, AR, Intercompany).
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for Industrial Industry clients.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).
