About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to transform the finance operations of retail clients. The consultant will utilize their expertise in SAP Finance, particularly in General Accounting and related modules, to address complex business challenges and drive digital transformation. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project leadership, and strong communication skills to inspire teams and deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Use Retail industry knowledge and technical expertise to decipher clients' Finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice by continuing to build your own and your team's expertise in SAP Finance.
- Lead projects and dive into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients.
- Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience & expertise in SAP Finance specific to General Accounting/Ledger and relative modules & technologies (AP, AR, Intercompany).
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for Retail clients.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.
