About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to transform the retail industry. The consultant will utilize their expertise in SAP Finance, particularly in General Accounting, to address clients' finance needs and drive digital transformation. Responsibilities
- Use retail industry knowledge and technical expertise to decipher clients' finance needs.
- Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice.
- Continue to build personal and team expertise in SAP Finance.
- Lead projects and dive into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients.
- Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance specific to General Accounting/Ledger and related modules (AP, AR, Intercompany).
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for Retail clients.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience); if Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.
