About the position

The SAP Finance/General Accounting Consultant role at Accenture focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to transform the retail industry. The position involves using technical expertise and industry knowledge to address clients' finance needs, particularly in General Accounting and related modules. The consultant will lead projects, configure SAP solutions, and contribute to the continuous learning and development of the SAP team.

Responsibilities

• Use retail industry knowledge to assess and address clients' finance needs.
• Serve as an expert and thought leader in SAP Finance within the Accenture SAP practice.
• Lead projects and configure SAP solutions for clients in the retail sector.
• Support the continuous development of team expertise in SAP Finance and related technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients.
• Minimum of 3 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance, specifically in General Accounting/Ledger and related modules (AP, AR, Intercompany).
• At least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for Retail clients.
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
