About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Senior Manager role at Accenture focuses on leading SAP-based Finance Transformation projects within the Energy industry. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in SAP solutions and a deep understanding of the Energy sector to help clients navigate their transformation journeys. The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the ability to translate complex client needs into actionable solutions, ultimately driving business value and long-term success for clients.
Responsibilities
- Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs using SAP application and functional process expertise.
- Lead teams of consultants to advise clients on building state-of-the-art SAP Energy Industry cloud solutions.
- Engage with senior client Finance executives to discuss business challenges and the potential value of SAP solutions.
- Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through the development of business cases and roadmaps.
- Architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies and custom applications.
- Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on industry best practices and SAP innovations.
- Lead large project teams to achieve transformational roadmaps, either onsite with clients or within Accenture.
- Become a trusted expert and advisor by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations in the field.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP Finance Transformation projects, particularly in the Energy industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide teams effectively.
- Deep understanding of SAP platforms and their capabilities in driving business value.
- Experience in engaging with senior executives and understanding their business challenges.
- Ability to develop business cases and roadmaps for SAP transformations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SAP S/4 and other SAP tools relevant to the Energy sector.
- Knowledge of current regulations and trends affecting the Energy industry.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients.
