About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Senior Manager role at Accenture focuses on leading SAP-based Finance Transformation projects within the Natural Resources industry. This position requires a confident leader who can leverage SAP technologies to drive business value and transform financial functions for clients. The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the ability to engage with senior client executives to address business challenges and trends.
Responsibilities
- Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs using SAP application and functional process expertise.
- Lead teams of consultants to advise clients on building SAP Natural Resources Industry cloud solutions.
- Engage with senior client Finance executives to discuss business challenges and the potential value of SAP solutions.
- Lead the development of business cases and roadmaps for clients' SAP journeys during sales origination and proposal development.
- Architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies and custom applications.
- Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on industry best practices and SAP innovations.
- Lead large project teams to achieve transformational roadmaps, either onsite with clients or within Accenture.
- Become a trusted expert and advisor by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations in the field.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP Finance Transformation projects, particularly in the Natural Resources industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide teams effectively.
- Deep understanding of SAP technologies and their application in finance and accounting functions.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with senior executives and stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SAP S/4 and other SAP tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing processes in the Natural Resources sector.
- Ability to develop and present compelling business cases and proposals.
