About the position
The SAP Finance/General Accounting Senior Manager role at Accenture focuses on leading SAP-based Finance Transformation projects within the Retail industry. This position is designed for a confident leader who can leverage SAP technologies to drive business value and transform financial operations for clients. The role involves collaborating with clients to develop innovative solutions, managing project teams, and engaging with senior executives to address business challenges and trends.
Responsibilities
- Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs using SAP application and functional process expertise.
- Lead teams of consultants to advise clients on building state-of-the-art SAP Retail Industry cloud solutions.
- Engage with senior client Finance executives on business challenges and the potential value of SAP solutions.
- Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through business cases and roadmaps.
- Architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies and custom applications.
- Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on industry best practices.
- Lead large project teams to achieve transformational roadmaps, onsite with clients or within Accenture.
- Become a trusted expert and advisor by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Retail clients.
- Minimum of 6 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance specific to General Accounting/Ledger and related modules.
- Minimum 3 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning and solution architecture for Retail clients.
- Experience driving complex workshops and leading design decisions in the SAP Finance area.
- Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
