About the position
The SAP Financial Business Analyst at PACCAR Inc. is responsible for supporting the implementation of SAP by developing accounting solutions and standard business processes. This role involves managing data migration from legacy systems to SAP, executing system test plans, and providing training to end users. The position allows for telecommuting up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounting, internal processes, and business requirements in support of SAP implementation.
- Develop accounting solutions and standard business processes for general ledger, asset accounting, accounts payable, cost accounting, account receivable, inventory, forecast, and internal controls.
- Develop and execute detailed system test plans and end user training.
- Manage data migration from legacy accounting systems to SAP, including definition of data requirements and validation of actual data migrated.
- Develop system documentation and support business users.
- Provide leadership to other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
- 10 years of progressive accounting and finance systems experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP accounting modules and system conversion.
- Experience in financial system design, configuration, and implementation for multinational organizations.
- Experience in challenging and critiquing current business processes to identify opportunities for improvements across multiple systems.
- Experience in extracting data from SAP or other systems for financial analysis and reporting.
- Management of data migration from legacy accounting systems to SAP.
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls.
- Proficiency in Excel (including macros, v-lookup, pivot tables, and formulas), Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
