About the position

The SAP Fixed Assets Lead will play a crucial role in the SAP S/4 HANA Transformation Project, focusing on the Fixed Asset subledger workstream. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless transitions, optimizing processes, and managing robust data for content accounting operations. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving milestones in data conversion, testing, and training for end-users.

Responsibilities

• Review and redesign existing accounting processes to align with SAP S/4 HANA structures.
• Collaborate with process owners to implement changes in the Fixed Asset subledger domain.
• Identify data profiling, cleansing, and conversion rules for accurate migration.
• Perform data reconciliations and validations during mock and production cutovers.
• Partner with workstream leads to manage migrations, improve data quality, and standardize master data.
• Support the creation of quick reference guides, training materials, and web-based simulations for end-users.
• Provide hypercare and assess post-implementation survey results.
• Address and escalate post-implementation issues effectively.
• Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and data teams to ensure project success.
• Support organizational change management initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in accounting systems, specifically within subledger and GL systems.
• Proven project management expertise in ERP transformations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power BI integration) for data analysis.
• SAP Project Systems and Master Data Governance process knowledge (a plus).
• Strong aptitude for detail-oriented tasks and end-to-end ownership of data governance domains.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with media-based content accounting processes (a strong plus).
• CPA certification or equivalent accounting qualifications (preferred).
