About the position

We are seeking an onsite SAP Functional Analyst in Matawan, NJ who has experience with SAP PMR / SD/MM. The SAP Functional Analyst will be responsible for the solution design, build/configuration, testing, deployment, support, integrity, and ongoing management of the SAP S/4HANA ERP solution within the functional domain. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, challenges, and opportunities, leading the design and continuous support of the SAP ERP solution.
• Serve as the SAP functional expert, possessing deep knowledge of business processes and SAP ERP.
• Identify gaps in business processes and develop efficient solutions.
• Translate complex business processes into tangible designs using SAP functionality.
• Achieve objectives and deliverables within the project plan, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
• Provide process knowledge for business process designs and assist in testing script creation and execution.
• Contribute to team performance and quality standards as defined by service level agreements.
• Understand data system integrations from SAP to various systems including Point of Sale and Scale Management.
• Assist in the development and execution of user training.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in design and configuration of SAP solutions.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SD/MM configuration.
• Retail experience, particularly in grocery, is a big plus.
• Multiple Full-Lifecycle Implementations of SAP ERP, including at least 1 HANA S/4 Implementation in a retail environment.
• Hands-On Configuration experience delivering business process solutions within the SAP framework.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external resources for effective business process solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Order to Cash (OTC) processes and configuration expertise in SAP and S/4HANA.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with EDI, IDocs, and Workflow troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape ABAP and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with configuration and integration with 3rd party tools for retail couponing.
