About the position

Metas Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant specializing in S4/HANA Migration. This role involves providing expert consultation and technical writing support for a government agency's migration project. The consultant will work independently to review project progress, provide recommendations, and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an independent consultant for SAP CRM and ECC migration to S4/HANA.
• Perform Independent Verification and Validation services related to the migration to S4/HANA.
• Develop a project work plan defining tasks and timelines for recommended improvements.
• Review and make recommendations on management and technical aspects of the S4/HANA project implementation.
• Provide a risk management assessment of the overall S4/HANA implementation.
• Review and analyze project management and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor planning, development, and implementation processes for documentation and improvement.
• Perform detailed reviews of technical architecture and application software for feasibility and standards adherence.
• Analyze system capacity and performance metrics.
• Review processes for tracking business and technical requirements and ensure traceability throughout development phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of implementation experience with SAP S4/HANA.
• 4-5 years of experience specifically with SAP S4/HANA implementations.
• Experience migrating to S4/HANA and the cloud.
• 8-10 years of functional configuration experience with SAP CRM, SAP ECC FI/CO, SD, and BI/BW.
• Experience in project planning, requirements, design, development, testing, operations, and maintenance with SAP.
• Experience establishing and monitoring systems capacity and performance metrics with SAP S4/HANA.
• Experience analyzing application, network, hardware, and software performance characteristics with SAP S4/HANA.
• Experience performing detailed reviews of system documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
