About the position

The SAP Functional Consultant (SAP PP) role is a contract position focused on providing expertise in SAP implementation and integration, particularly in the Production Planning (PP) module. The consultant will work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, contributing to requirement gathering, best practices deployment, and project management across various teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP implementation and rollout projects.
• Design WRICEF elements and write functional design documents.
• Provide application support and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional environment.
• Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and interact with senior management.
• Contribute to requirement gathering and propose solutions for business processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP implementation and rollout projects.
• Knowledge of interfacing with non-SAP systems and SAP PP integration with other modules.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective problem resolution.
• Ability to perform tasks independently as an individual contributor.
• Experience in designing WRICEF elements and writing functional design documents.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with testing tools, including HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM).
• Proficiency with application support tools such as HP Service Manager.
• Strong project management skills, including time management and organization.
