About the position

As a SAP Functional Implementation Lead specializing in the Payroll Module at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in transforming human resources for our Government and Public Services (GPS) clients. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are critical to the successful implementation of the SAP Payroll Module. This includes system strategy development, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analyses, and designing both as-is and to-be business processes. You will also demonstrate prototypes, configure functionalities, conduct testing, and provide user training to clients. Your ability to work independently and lead workstreams will be essential, as you will direct the efforts of others and ensure that deliverables meet client needs and contractual obligations. Responsibilities

  • Assist with system strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, and designing business processes.
  • Perform project tasks independently and lead workstreams, directing the efforts of others.
  • Participate in and lead the development of deliverable content that meets client and contract needs.
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of consulting or industry experience with SAP HCM Payroll (PY) on-premise including wage configuration, gross to net calculations, posting to FI, Third Party remittances and performing payroll comparisons.
  • Experience with at least 2 full life cycle implementations of the Payroll module for SAP.
  • Knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA), Organization Management (OM), Benefits and Time Integration.
  • Experience with S4 migration.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Bachelor's degree.
