About the position

The SAP Hydrocarbon Value Chain (HVC) Consultant role at Accenture focuses on transforming the energy industry through innovative SAP solutions. The consultant will collaborate with clients to design and optimize processes in the Downstream Hydrocarbon Value Chain, leveraging SAP technologies to address complex business challenges. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project leadership, and strong communication skills to drive successful outcomes in a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design and optimize end-to-end processes in Downstream Hydrocarbon Value Chain & SAP Commodity Management and Trading.
• Serve as an expert and thought leader in the Accenture SAP practice, building expertise in SAP technologies.
• Lead projects and dive into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the SAP IS-Oil modules and Hydrocarbon Value Chain process area.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting the Oil & Gas, Chemicals or Utilities Industry/clients.
• At least 1 end-to-end SAP HVC implementation, including hands-on design and configuration.
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).

Nice-to-haves

• Comfortable with ERP technology and familiar with SAP, Oracle, Workday.
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and design thinking.
• Prior sales experience developing responses to client proposals and participating in sales presentations.
• Exposure to operational reporting and understanding the pain areas in the industry.
