About the position

The SAP iXp Intern - Software Asset Management Software Developer position is part of the SAP Internship Experience Program, designed for university students to gain practical experience in software development. This role involves integrating applications and APIs, developing applications using SAP technologies, and managing individual tasks within a collaborative environment. Interns will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, gain visibility within the company, and develop cross-functional skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate applications/APIs with web services
• Develop applications using SAP Fiori and ABAP on Cloud
• Write and test code, debug programs
• Create reports using Python, Java, or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Manage individual tasks, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Develop applications using modern cloud-native technologies
• Learn SAP BTP Technology

Requirements

• Graduate student studying or has studied Computer Science
• Approval to work full-time (40 hours a week)
• Strong programming skills in JAVA, JavaScript, or NodeJS
• Strong programming skills in ABAP
• 2-3 years of meaningful work experience as a professional front-end software engineer (preferred)
• Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile (preferred)

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge/experience in SAP Finance and SAP S4-HANA
• Experience in software development using Git, GitHub in an agile team
• Experience in developing FIORI Apps or SAC
